World Diabetes Day happens on the 14th November which is the birthday of Sir Frederick Banting, who co-discovered insulin along with Charles Best in 1922.
To celebrate the special day our Podding Peer Support group was involved in a podcast called 'Eden Chats'. The episode was all about peer support, what it means to a person involved and the impact of this specific group.
